About me
Claire

I have been a secondary school maths teacher for over 20 years in a variety of different settings, including overseas. I have extensive experience of delivering Key stage 3 and GCSE maths. as well as Entry Level and vocational courses for students with SEND. 

I also have a variety of experience within the animal care and welfare sector. This has included teaching animal care courses together with functional skills in a college. I have also volunteered with various animal rescue charities for many years.

About the Animals

​

 Jill and Janet are a lovely pair of piebald ponies about 12.2hh . They love eating apples and fresh grass and hanging out together.

Fred, Daphne and Velma

Fred. Daphne and Velma are three friendly, young donkeys. They love walking around together finding the best grass. They also like having a ‘loud chat’ with their donkey neighbours!

Caleb, Bonnie and Clyde 

Caleb, Bonnie and Clyde are three young pygmy goats. They love chasing each other around, making lots of noise and ginger biscuits.

Nala, Lacey, Snowy and Shadow

Nala, Lacey, Snowy and Shadow are four polish bantams. They are friendly chickens who love scratching around and mealworms.

Dave, Duke, Denzel, Vinnie, Hercules, Ian, Ivan, Irvin and Isaac

Dave, Duke, Denzel, Vinnie, Hercules, Ian, Ivan, Irvin and Isaac are nine alpacas. They love all the activity on the farm and are very curious. They also love going for walks and getting into water whenever possible!

Peter and Penelope

Peter and Penelope are two visiting peacocks. Peter loves strutting around the farm and being admired. Penelope prefers to hide in the hedges.
